1. Introduction

Block Burst ("we," "our," or "us"), developed and operated by an individual developer, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what limited information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use our mobile application.

By using Block Burst, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Block Burst is designed with your privacy in mind. We directly collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the game's leaderboard feature. Specifically, we collect:

We do not collect your name, email address, location, contact list, photos, or microphone data. Please note that our advertising partner, Google AdMob, may independently collect certain data as described in Section 5.

3. How We Use Your Information

The data we directly collect is used exclusively for the following purpose:

The score and device identifier we collect are not used for advertising or profiling. Any advertising-related data collection is handled independently by Google AdMob, as described in Section 5.

4. Data Storage and Third-Party Services

Your game score and device identifier are stored using Google Firebase, a cloud platform provided by Google LLC. Firebase is used to securely store and retrieve leaderboard data in real time. Data stored in Firebase is subject to Google's own privacy and security standards.

For more information on how Google handles data, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy .

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Block Burst displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob, a mobile advertising service operated by Google LLC. The app uses the following ad formats:

To serve relevant advertisements, Google AdMob may collect and process certain information from your device, which may include:

This data is collected and processed by Google under their own privacy policy. We do not have direct access to or control over the data collected by AdMob. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by adjusting your device's advertising settings:

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your data to any third parties. The only data sharing that occurs is the transmission of your game score and device identifier to Firebase for leaderboard purposes (Section 3), and the independent data collection by Google AdMob for advertising purposes (Section 5). We may disclose data only in the following limited circumstances:

7. Data Retention

Leaderboard entries (score and device identifier) are retained on Firebase for as long as necessary to maintain the in-game rankings. Since no account is created, there is no account deletion flow; however, you may contact us at the email below to request removal of your data from the leaderboard.

8. Notifications

Block Burst may request permission to send you push notifications. You can enable or disable notifications at any time from the Settings screen within the app, or through your device's system notification settings. Disabling notifications will not affect your ability to play the game or access the leaderboard. No personal data is collected through the notifications feature.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we collect. Leaderboard data is transmitted and stored using Firebase's industry-standard security infrastructure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

Block Burst is a casual puzzle game suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The leaderboard data we collect (an anonymous device identifier and game score) does not constitute personal information under applicable children's privacy laws such as COPPA. However, please be aware that Google AdMob may collect advertising-related data as described in Section 5. Parents or guardians with questions are welcome to contact us at the address below.

11. International Data Transfers

Your leaderboard data (score and device identifier) may be stored on Firebase servers located outside your country of residence. By using Block Burst, you consent to this transfer. We rely on Firebase's security infrastructure to ensure your data is handled appropriately regardless of where it is stored.
